Traditional Karate Training in Dallas, Texas
Japan Shotokan Karate (JSK) is a Traditional Japanese Karate Club practicing JKA Shotokan karate as taught by Karate Legend Hidetaka Nishiyama.
Brad Webb started Karate in the late 70′s early 80s and has been a student of Sensei Nishiyama and Dr Alex Tong since 1982. Since Nishiyama Sensei’s passing in 2008, Webb continues his karate training and teaching as part of the International Traditional Karate Federation(ITKF) to spread and grow traditional karate and shotokan karate-do as taught by Nishiyama Sensei. Currently Brad Webb has established the national group - “USA Traditional Karate” www.usatk.org as a non-profit national group to replace the AAKF(expelled) within the ITKF international community & countries.
Elizabeth Regnier Webb started her karate journey under the Nishiyama umbrella in 1969 in Wisconsin. Her training and experience has been invaluable to the establishment of JSK as a top quality karate education center.
The Webb couple began JSK in the late 1980s to further their own karate development, to propagate the Nishiyama tradition of this wonderful martial art, and as a way to give back to the community for the opportunities they have been given. Consequently, the Webbs opened their school(s) and have been teaching Traditional Karate together in the North Texas area since they met in 1988..
